| Sonntag, 27.
Hier die originale Aussendung: To people who have expressed interest in the Mitoquinone trial (MitoQ) We have been advised by the trial sponsor, Antipodean Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd that they will not be going ahead with the MitoQ trial at the current time and that they have withdrawn the application to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the USA. This means that world-wide, the Mito Q trial will not proceed at this time. It is still believed that MitoQ may be a suitable drug for the treatment of Friedreich ataxia. In the future, trials of Mito Q may occur but this is not the path that Antipodean wish to pursue currently. We are very aware of how disappointing this news is to the FA community however, we are hopeful that there may be other drugs that can be trialled in the near future. We are currently exploring all possible opportunities and I will write to you when I have further information. We appreciate your support and commitment to our research. Cate Wilson, Clinical Trial Co-ordinator
